2. Which the mission of the Filippos F.C. Skills Academy?

Even the name-Filippos Skills Academy shows the philosophy of our school which is based on the technical development of players,of course without empasize only in this.We match technical and tactical development. The target of our school is right education, entertainment and personal development of children,so that we can create   players with initiative, initiative, confidence and creativity. It doesn't matter to us how many games we win,but how many children we will inspire so they will love football and stay in sport for ''why not'' all their life.

3.Do you have general guidelines? Can you explain us them?

In our school there is specific philosophy.Children first learn to love football,to have fun and afterward to learn correct and attacking football. In the past there was an excellent''street school''on every corner of the street where young people were free to play and develop. So create situations that bring youth players as close as possible to street soccer. We believe that the individual should serve the team and the team should serve the individuals. For this we use the following rule : The team training session (cooperation)helps the individual to develop the collective.Interaction of guidelines :  1.Personality development  2.Individual development  3.Systematic development

4.How is the economic situation of football in Greece? How do you manage it and balance it with your players and coaches?

The economic crisis in Greece has not left unaffected  sport  and  particularly football .Many parents find it  difficult to settle  the  financial  contributions  of their children .Of course they are trying to save money to provide their children

The Greek Football Federation organizes  since  2003  the football  coaches schools under the auspices of UEFA. Within the defined objectives is to provide knowledge about coaching in the developmental  ages .  At the same time , the education council has created a practice guide aims to present the context  of a long train programming HOW, WHAT and WHEN training. E. course)Usually we suggest to attend seminars by the Dutch school, whenever possible, of course.Currently we have five coaches for 100 children in our school and each group has: 8 children -U6 children 8-12 U10 and children 8-14 U16U12.

6. Which are the international teaching  and  training methodologies do you know better  and  use  most ? And why? Do you have your one as Filippos F.C.?Can you explain it us? Expecially for your youth academy .......... What  do  you think about  Coerver Coaching.,Horst Wein or dutch methodologies for youth training?

The methodologies  in the world are many.Other are based on the technical development  and other on  the tactical. We have  studied  many of theese such as :    Barcelona  philosophy - johan Cruyff  philosophy  -  KNVB Zeister  Vision  Horst Wein  -  Wiel Coerver method  - Peter Schreiner system etc.The methodology  has  given  me  vision  is by Wiel Coerver. Because dominates  the exercises  of  the  technical  development  of players. The Coerver  Method  focuses on individual  skill  progression ,  and   the   development  of   tactical   awareness through  drills  carried out in small groups. Its commanding philosophy is one of control over  the  ball, and  it was  developed  through  Coerver  analysing  hour upon  hour  of  footage  of  some  of the game's greatest ever players.  Pele was known  to be  a  particular  inspiration,  and  through  immersing himself  in his project, Coerver came to believe that incredible skill was not simply innate,  but could be taught. In  our  school  of  course does not focus  only  on exercises of “the Albert Einstein of football” Wiel Coerver we try to see its needs modern football and we have our own  philosophy.          I  also believe we should spend more time on technique training,  without changing  course  entirely  by  solely  focusing on technique training.  Our training  need  to  have  these  PDE  factors   ( perception,  decision  -  making   and execution )  for learning to take place . Our philosophy is precise and starts when a child  comes to us from   4   years  up  to the age of  16  years. All  coaches work at our School philosophy taught  by  director       : ''Τechnique  is the basis of everything'   ................. Without technique there  is no tactic.  The individual development must dominate. Our philosophy is:
1. Creating stronger individuals 2. Creating stronger cooperations 3. Creating stronger team.
DEVELOPMENT 5 STAGES :     1. Μaster the ball     2. Dominate opponent     3. Right decisions     4. Game development     5. Imagination – Initiative- Creativity
Everything is about  the players, they must solves problems by means of their own insight  and  creativity . Players  must take  the  initiative,  demand the ball and create personality. Let's get  the  balance right  and  encourage  freedom of play and developme- nt as much as possible with guidance helping young play- ers individually on becoming the  best  they can be.  Without  technique there is no tactic.   “We  want  to  educate dynamic, creative  and unpredictable players. Players  who can  (technically)  maintain themselves  on  the ball in every game situation and continuously create better  situation for themselves and their and their  teammates. Every time  they receive  the  ball they create  space  to  shift the  play, thanks to their amazing feel for the ball.”   We are the only school currently in the region of Thessaloniki we do skills training in developmental ages methodically.I believe in the methodology  of Wiel but I think that needs some additions,to create high-level players. I have spent many hours in the analysis of  Wiel  Coerver  methodology and I  have  come  in contact  with people who have  been taught  by him and have worked with him. My target is to contin - ue and to evolve  this great  methodology. "I learned to play on the  street, in  the  yard, which is how to  learn  to play football. "-Pele      I  believe  it  is  the  coach's  role  to find the  right balance for the individual young player  between  α) natural game play  self discovery  and   β) advancing technique  improvement.  There  are  two  main  methods   to  coaching   young players in this. a)The first is the demonstration of the technique and the player follows.Coach- es need to be proficient in the technique to gain succesful results. b)The second method is allowing the player to mentally create themselves how best  to improve  the  technique with  some  open  questions  by the coach. This coaching technique is beautiful but is only realistic when the player has a Grasp of the technique and is now improving it.   Let's get the balance right and encourage freedom of play and development as much as possible with guidance helping young players individually on becoming the best they can be.

7.How many children you have and how do you organize they by age?

Our school currently has 100 children in parts : prebambini  - bambini -  prejunior-junior-U12 and are separated by age.Children are separated based on capacity. The program is  determined by the director of the  school  according to their age and level  of players.Ιt's  weekly and the point is  individual  skills and team development. We use motivation for children to participate in training and motivation to work at home. The trainings is three times a week and the time limit is determined by their age and weekend there are games
.
8.What kind of training session are you use to purpose during the week? What kind of training session do you purpose by age? What kind of warm ups technical and tactical exercises by age?

Each week the training  has a theme. It starts with warming up and fun warm-up games -ball feeling and fast footwork exercise. Then we have movements 1vs1 with passive defense and with active defense.Passing  receiving combined with 1vs1 and many exercises with rondos. They always end  training with small sided games. We start every training session in which we can perfect the technical coordination.I never  use cones,as resistance, this is always done by players Depending on the level of children  determined  and  the  exercises, from easy to difficult-simple to complex and general to specific.

9.Please explain us how your training center is planned and organized?

The Sports training center is located ThermiThessaloniki. It contains a football stadium (11x11), 2 football pitches(5x5) and 1 football pitch(7x7).We have the following training equipment: speed ladders, cones, speed hurdles,First Aid Kit,Balls size 3-4-5,target cones, markers, mini Bazooka goals, flat goals..etc.

10.What kind of exercise do you use most?

Our main goal is for players to acquire fullskills , so we focus most on exercises that improve technique and release the children's mind.We work A lot of drills, dribbling and feints, but the central term is ball control. We want to educate, creative and unpredictable players. Players like  Zidane,Messi, Robben Maradonna,Pele. Every time they receive the ball they create space. Many drills aim at the development of the technical skills of young players.
